The Ganesha not only symbolizes strength, wisdom and longevity; but also inspires us to stop and think, don’t rush, take one step at a time, keep trying, and work as a team. The auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi was celebrated with unmatched happiness by the students of grades nursery to 3 by conducting an assembly at Presidium, Dwarka 22. The presentation began by students in an interactive manner with an introductory speech about how and when is Ganesh Chaturthi celebrated.
This was followed by a short informative skit, telling about how Ganesha, the son of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati was born and came to have the head of an elephant on a human body. Then, a captivating dance performance and Ganesha’s Aarti brightened up the aura. On this festive occasion, the students wished all happiness as big as Ganesha’s appetite and life as long as his trunk.
