Non-violence has always been looked upon as idealist fantasy but over and over again, people have come out and shown the power of peaceful protests. The truth is that violence is not a necessity for revolution. Unity wins over every enemy no matter how powerful and violent it might be. To commemorate the peaceful and noble contribution of our revolutionaries, the International Day of Peace was celebrated by the Presidians of grade 3 from Dwarka 22 through a special assembly. The 'leaders of tomorrow' pledged to opt for the way of non-violence over violence by serving as the 'messengers of peace'. They concluded the assembly on the note that 'anything violence can do, peace can do better as peace is the way for a better world for you and me.
