Let's fill out homes with prayers and light, not with fumes and crackers!
To encourage our young students to celebrate a clean and green Diwali, a special assembly was recently organized at Presidium, Dwarka 22. The focus was on burning less firecrackers, as well as keeping the surroundings clean. The assembly began with usual prayer and thought of the day, followed by a wonderful skit by Presidians of grade 1, which showed how a child gives inspires to light lamps and diyas instead of burning crackers. The participants were well-dressed in colourful attires. Giving the message of 'clean India, green India', the students of grade 2 beautifully segmented the highlights of the show and motivated the audience to celebrate an eco-friendly Diwali by 'saying say no to crackers'. The last segment of the show was a 'nukkad natak' by students of grade 3, communicating messages through slogans and quotes along with the song 'life is a breath of fresh air'. The day made all hopeful for a better environment!
