"The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated." ― Mahatma Gandhi
The lives of animals are profoundly affected by the actions of individuals, businesses and nations. It’s therefore essential that, as sentient beings, their rightful status is restored in the society. Therefore to spread an awareness of the rights of animals and their safety, the students of grades nursery and prep from Presidium Dwarka conducted a special assembly recently on the occasion of World Animal Day. The assembly aimed at sensitizing everyone towards embracing all animals and the unique concerns of each, in every country. The little Presidians showed that with increased awareness and education, we can help develop a compassionate culture, which feeds into legal reform and social progress to make this world a fairer place for all living creatures.
