“To deny people their human rights is to challenge their very humanity.” – Nelson Mandela
Commemorating the universal declaration of human rights and the importance of securing human rights for all people, December 10th is celebrated as Human Rights Day every year across the globe. This glorious day was celebrated with great enthusiasm by the students of grades 1 to 3 at Presidium, Dwarka 22. The celebration commenced with students sharing the significance of the day, followed by a thoughtful discussion on specific human rights and a captivating skit. The atmosphere echoed with an energetic dance on ‘we all got rights’ by our talented students, concluding the assembly with everyone solemnly singing ‘the national anthem’.
