Mathematics is not a language... It’s an ADVENTURE!
The young mathematicians of Presidium Dwarka 22 recently had a fulfilling experience by celebrating Maths Day. The day began with competitions across students of grades 3 to 9. To connect mathematics to daily life, they were engaged in several math activities and participated with unmatched zeal and zest. These young mathematicians were encouraged to explore and share their learning with everyone. The students also took up a project where they sat in groups and experienced every step of conducting research which included identifying the objective, collecting the data, organizing data using tally marks and representing data using pictographs and bar graphs. Enlightening the students about the relevance of Mathematics in daily life, the activities gave them a hands-on experience of the concepts taught in the class!
