In sync with the theme ‘Religious Communities’, a visit to religious places was organised wherein the students went to Singh Sabha Gurudwara, Iskcon Temple, Church of Our Lady of Lourdes and the Mosque . The visit helped the young Presidians build connections with people belonging from different communities. They meticulously indulged and adapted to the kaleidoscope of the religious ethnicity and witnessed various ceremonies being conducted. They chanted various hymns in the temple, Mool Mantra in the Gurudwara and verses in the Church. The students noticed the different attires worn by people at the places of worship such as in temples, saints were wearing dhoti, pugdi and kurta-pyjama in Gurudwara. They also observed that each religion bears a different symbol. Overall, it was a visit wherein the Presidians experienced and learnt fruitful practices with direct observations.
