The students of Grade 6 defined their journey to witness the history of Firoz Shah Kotla, Qutub Complex and Hazrat Nizzamuddin as a part of Itihaas project.
While being on their visit, students carefully observed the surroundings and were deeply interested in the knowledgeable facts shared by the Itihaas team. To get some insights on the historical facts, they were then taken to the 'Pillar of Ashoka' and 'Iron Pillar' where they were asked to share what they studied in the subject classes. At Hazrat Nizzamuddin, they were asked to share what they studied on the Sufi saints and their beliefs.
Observing the Quwwat-ul-Islam Mosque and the tomb was truly a beautiful and picturesque sight for them. They also shared the fact of presence of River Yamuna in the area that surrounds the fort.
The students marveled at the architectural structures of the fort and took back some beautiful memories of the day. The visit was an enriching experience for the students where they learnt through observing the various parts of History.
