PRESIDIANS TO SHARE ABOUT THEIR JOURNEYS IN TRAVEL DIARY ACTIVITY

We all know travel is an essential part of our life; the more we travel the more we learn. Keeping this in mind and to enable our young explorers to recall and draw their travel experiences, a ‘travel diary’ activity was recently conducted at Presidium, Dwarka 22. The students were motivated to share about the places they traveled in their vacations and draw the best experiences and favourite moments related to them. Students were elated and excited to draw the places visited by them and described their pictures in two and three sentences. The pictures of students were a feast for the eyes and their sharing was truly joyful!
PRESIDIANS DEMONSTRATE POWER OF YOUTH ON NATIONAL YOUTH DAY
National Youth Day is celebrated in India on 12th January on the birthday of Swami Vivekananda and to celebrate this glorious day, a special assembly was recently conducted by grade 4 and 5 students at Presidium, Dwarka 22. The assembly started with an encouraging thought of the day to motivate youth of today's generation. Then, the students presented a beautiful skit, demonstrating the power of youth from many years. The assembly proved that the future of our nation is in safe hands of our leaders of tomorrow!
SPECIAL ASSEMBLY ON LOHRI PACKS PRESIDIANS WITH ENERGY & FERVOUR
To celebrate the flamboyant festival of Lohri, a special assembly was recently conducted by students of grades nursery and prep at Presidium, Dwarka 22. The joyous assembly started with the morning prayer, post which, the students shared about the significance of the Lohri festival. Blooming with energy and enthusiasm, the students confidently presented the beautiful Punjabi song 'sundar mundariye', a mesmerizing dance performance and a skit based on the significance of this festival. The little Presidians enjoyed each and every part of the assembly and got exposure of one more festival in a fun-filled way.
PRESIDIANS JOIN ARITHMETIC TO DAILY LIFE ON ENJOYABLE MATHS DAY
Mathematics is not a language... It’s an ADVENTURE!
The young mathematicians of Presidium Dwarka 22 recently had a fulfilling experience by celebrating Maths Day. The day began with competitions across students of grades 3 to 9. To connect mathematics to daily life, they were engaged in several math activities and participated with unmatched zeal and zest. These young mathematicians were encouraged to explore and share their learning with everyone. The students also took up a project where they sat in groups and experienced every step of conducting research which included identifying the objective, collecting the data, organizing data using tally marks and representing data using pictographs and bar graphs. Enlightening the students about the relevance of Mathematics in daily life, the activities gave them a hands-on experience of the concepts taught in the class!
LITTLE PRESIDIANS LEARN THE CONCEPT OF ADDITION WITH BUTTON GAME
With an objective to equip our grade prep students with the understanding of adding two numbers using object and pictures, a Button Game was recently conducted at Presidium, Dwarka 22. An interesting character Min Tin initiated the activity by showing number card to students, according to which, they picked the buttons kept in a bowl. Another number was again shown and the process was repeated. The student wrote the number on the white board and then counted buttons in the two bowls. Further, the students were provided buttons in pairs. Only 5 buttons were kept in the bowls and the process was repeated as above. This activity helped them establish the connection between the process of addition!
COLLAGE MAKING: PRESIDIANS SHOW THEIR WILL TO CONSERVE EARTH
As a part of their club activity based on the theme of 'heal the earth - help our future', the students from grade 9 onwards enthusiastically participated in a Collage Making Competition at Presidium, Dwarka 22. The Presidians participated with immense vigour to demonstrate their support for environmental protection and to propagate that a healthy environment is the foundation for a stable and productive society. They strongly advocated the message to protect, conserve and sustainably manage the natural resources through their collages. The activity effectively sensitized the students towards the dire need of the hour of protecting their environment!
WORLD LEPROSY DAY: PRESIDIANS RAISE AWARENESS TOWARDS THE DISEASE

On the occasion of World Leprosy Day, our students from grades 4 and 5 conducted a well-planned assembly at Presidium, Dwarka 22. Starting off with an anecdote on this special day, the Presidians brought Leprosy's causes, symptoms, precautions and treatment into light. With the mission to change people's attitude towards this disease and increase public awareness of the fact that leprosy can now be easily prevented and cured, the leaders of tomorrow created an ambience for learning that invigorated and unfolded their true potential.
OUR CHILD PRODIGY AARSHIYA CHECKMATES ALL AT THE CHESS TOURNAMENT

Today, we congratulate one such winner, Aarshiya, from Presidium Dwarka 22 for winning 3rd prize in under 8 year category of a grand Chess Tournament organised by IIFL Wealth Regional Qualifying Junior (U-13). Outshining more than 300 participants from different schools of Delhi, the talented grade 4 Presidian was felicitated by Arjuna Award winner - Ms. Tanya.

KUDOS PARI FOR GRABBING GOLD IN 2ND NATIONAL YOGA CHAMPIONSHIP
We feel proud to share that our grade 4 students, Pari Bagla from Presidium Dwarka 22 recently won the prestigious gold medal in 2nd National Yoga Championship. Organised by Yog Sports Association of India, the championship witnessed grand participation of 1000 students from 12 States of India.

PRESIDIANS BRING FORWARD THEIR INNOCENT NEW YEAR RESOLUTIONS
New Year is just around the corner and the zeal and festivities are at their peak. To assimilate this joyous and enthralling day, when all of us embrace a new beginning with open arms, our assiduous Presidians took their pencils out to chalk out some of their resolutions. The activity 'new year resolution' not only was thoroughly enjoyed by our students, but also inculcated basic writing skills such as brainstorming and framing sentences. The students actively participated in creative writing, group discussions and interactive sessions with their facilitators to bring forward the most innocent and lovely resolutions they decided to follow for their new year.
