PRESIDIANS REVERE THE SPIRIT OF CHILDHOOD ON CHILDREN’S DAY
At Presidium Dwarka 22, we believe in nurturing the children to their utmost potential and extracting out their latent talents. Considering the magnificent likeness of the Children's Day theme with our ideology, the day was gloriously celebrated with all gusto and merriment with a special assembly. The students of grade 3 commenced the assembly by making a speech on Children's Day, wherein they shared that the day is a tribute to India’s first Prime Minister, Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru and how much he adored kids. The first performance was a skit by grade 1 students showing classroom scenarios and what all children in their school times experience. It was followed by a captivating choir performance by grade 2 students on the song ‘Abbak Dabbak’. Thoroughly enjoyed by all, the assembly concluded on a positive note, leaving everybody present regaled.
1ST INTER-SCHOOL ROLLER SKATING MATCH:PRESIDIUM PROVES ITS METTLE
To foster the spirit of sportsmanship in the leaders of tomorrow, Presidium Dwarka 22 recently organized the 1st Inter-School Roller Skating Championship, wherein more than 300 students from various schools participated. During the championship, all the participants displayed great enthusiasm, team spirit and traits of sportsmanship. The winners were highly enthusiastic and excited to receive the prestigious trophies, shields and certificates in the presence of a huge gathering. We congratulate Presidium Ashok Vihar for winning the Overall Best School Trophy, whereas Presidium Dwarka 22 and Presidium Gurgaon 57 for bagging the 1st and 2nd Runner Up Trophies, respectively.
TALENTED PRESIDIANS PRESENT A SOULFUL ASSEMBLY ON GURPURAB
To celebrate Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s birth anniversary and his commitment to equality, the young Presidians of Dwarka 22 conducted a marvelous assembly on the auspicious occasion of Gurpurab. The assembly initiated with a Prabhat Feri along with shabad kirtan 'Ek Onkar Satnaam' followed by Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s preachings by students. They also showcased Gatka, the popular Sikh martial art with great energy and dedication. Performing a captivating skit on Guru Nanak’s Dev Ji’s birth and his history that showed the path of peace, harmony and righteousness, the Presidians gave the message of humanity to transform our society beautifully in the near future.
WEST DELHI ITF TAEKWONDO FINALS 2017:PRESIDIANS WIN GOLD & SILVER

Packed with the same passion towards winning, 3 of our talented Presidians of Dwarka 22 won 2 gold and 1 silver medal in the 1st West Zone Delhi ITF Taekwondo Championship 2017. Held at Dilli Haat, Janak Puri on 24th August 2017, the competition witnessed a huge participation of 350 students from various schools. While Vaibhav Jain and Shubhangum from 5th grade won Gold Medals, Mohit Jain from 4th grade bagged a Silver Medal.

DEVELOPING DEMOCRATIC ETHOS IN PRESIDIANS WITH YOUTH PARLIAMENT
Youth Parliament is a political program that empowers young people to be advocates for their community!
In order to develop democratic ethos in the younger generation, a ‘Youth Parliament’ session was recently organized for the students of grades 7 and 8 at Presidium, Dwarka 22. The Presidians participated excitedly and came well-prepared for the event wearing khadi kurta-pyjamas, saris and salwar suits. Dressed as parliamentarians, they matched the ambience of the event and seemed extremely confident about their roles.
The session started with the opening speech by the President, wherein he welcomed the respected members of the parliament and made a fervent appeal to all of them to make a fruitful discussion on various uprising issues today. The new members of parliament took oaths in Hindi, English, Gujarati and Sanskrit languages, which showcased the spirit of ‘unity in diversity’ in our country. Thereafter, question hour started, in which the opposition raised questions related to the problems faced by the citizens. During the entire session, the leaders of tomorrow performed and debated with exemplary enthusiasm and learnt about the working of Parliament. Offering the leaders of tomorrow the opportunity to create solutions to the problems with a healthy debate, this academic simulation of Indian Parliament empowered them to take stand for what they believe in.
ARMING THE PRESIDIANS WITH CRUCIAL KNOWLEDGE ABOUT ROAD SAFETY

When walking on the roads, children do not have the maturity to know what to do and what not. Without adult supervision and proper knowledge of road safety rules, children can put themselves at risk. To make our young students well aware of the road traffic rules and ensure safety on road, a special assembly was recently conducted at Presidium, Dwarka 22. The assembly started with an enthralling skit about the dos and don'ts while walking on a road, which continued with the slogan raising and a crisp speech by the students. Arming the leaders of tomorrow with knowledge about being safe on road, the day served as an immersion learning experience for all!
ANNUAL SPORTS DAY PROVIDES PROSPECT FOR HEALTHY EXCITEMENT & JOY

The school playground of Presidium Dwarka 22 was filled with zeal, excitement and frolic atmosphere recently, as the school celebrated its Sports Extravaganza, which witnessed 100% participation. The Annual Sports Day featured a plethora of races to fill the Presidians with the true sportsmanship and competitive spirit. Each student participated with great ardour and learnt to accept both victories and defeats with grace. Showcasing exemplary team work, unity, courage and will-power in the field, the leaders of tomorrow mesmerized the audience with their energetic performances.
PRESIDIANS CONDUCT A JOYFUL ASSEMBLY ON THE FESTIVAL OF DIWALI
Happiness is just around the corner in the form of Diwali, the festival of happiness, love and lights that illuminates our hearts and life. To enjoy this lively festival, a special assembly was recently conducted by Presidium Dwarka 22 students. Celebration started with offering of prayers to God, which was followed by a skit portraying the story of Lord Rama's return to Ayodhya. To add on to festive aura, the Presidians gave a mesmerizing dance performance on song 'Ram Ji ki nikali sawari' and sang Diwali song too. Another skit was presented to encourage everyone to 'say no to crackers', which stirred the audience to do their bit towards environment protection.
INTERNATIONAL DAY OF GIRL CHILD: SALUTING THE SPIRIT OF WOMANHOOD
The hand that rocks the cradle, the procreator, the mother of tomorrow; a woman shapes the destiny of civilization.
Such is the tragic irony of fate, that a beautiful creation such as the girl child is today one of the gravest concerns facing humanity. To emphasize and support the fact that girls are the most wonderful miracle of life, an assembly was conducted by the students of grades 4 and 6 at Presidium, Dwarka22 on the occasion of International Day of Girl Child. Declared by the United Nations, this international observance day reflects the successful emergence and empowerment of girls. The students highlighted the importance of girls by stating that they are one of the most powerful force to change the world. When their rights are recognized, their needs are met, and their voices are heard, they drive positive change in their families, their communities and the world.
BEST OUT OF WASTE CONTEST: CREATIVITY AT ITS BEST AT PRESIDIUM

To promote creativity and artistic excellence in our leaders of tomorrow of grades 1 to 3, a 'best out of waste competition' was recently organized at Presidium, Dwarka 22. The students did not see the waste things the way they were, they brought it the way they can be and came up with astonishing creations. They truly broke all the established patterns and created things in a completely different way. From the temporary houses made up of grass and waste cardboard to pen stand made up of CDs, from table created out of waste bottles to cart and bicycle out of waste material like coconut, from creating drawers using matchbox to wind chimes using waste thermocol glasses, it was a wonderful learning and truly established many creative workers of Presidium.
