अक्षर ज्ञान गतिविधि ने प्रेसीडीअंस के शब्दकोष को दृढ़ बनाया
बच्चों के लिए प्रत्येक अक्षर कुछ नए शब्दों का जन्म है I वह अपने आस पास इन अक्षरों से जुड़े अनेक शब्दों को देखते पढ़ते और समझते हैं I इसी समझ को विस्तृत व सुद्रढ़ बनाने के लिए प्रेसिडियम द्वारका बाईस के कक्षा एक के छात्रों द्वारा 'अक्षर ज्ञान गतिविधि' कराई गयी I इसमें अध्यापिका द्वारा बनाये गए अक्षर चक्र को बारी बारी छात्रों ने घुमाया I जिस अक्षर पर चक्र रुका उस अक्षर से सभी बच्चों ने मिलकर नवीन शब्द बनाये और उसके अर्थ को समझा I इस गतिविधि को प्रत्येक छात्र द्वारा दोहराया गया I इस प्रकार छात्रों ने इस गतिविधि में उत्साह पूर्वक भाग लेते हुए अपने अक्षर ज्ञान को दृढ़ बनाया I
PRESIDIANS CREATE A FESTIVE AURA ON JANMASHTAMI CELEBRATIONS
"Krishna jinka naam hai, gokul jinka dhaam hai, aise Shri Krishna bhagwan ko, hum sab ka pranam hai.”
Janmashtami, a day to reminisce the birth of Lord Krishna was celebrated with great fervour and gaiety by the students of grades Nursery and Prep at Presidium Dwarka 22. A special assembly was organized where the students came dressed as Radha and Krishna. The assembly began with a prayer followed by a skit based on various ‘leelas’ of Lord Krishna’s birth and childhood assimilating the mischief in his mystic innocence by breaking matka, relishing fresh white butter and playing flutes. A dance performance followed by an aarti and rocking the Krishna Jhoola brought an end to the assembly. It was a day filled with the essence of divine spirit and joyful faces of the students.

Appreciation provides the motivation towards better accomplishments. It instills an urge to go on with new vigour and strength. ‘Appreciation’ is A word that can boost the morale of an individual leading him towards success. Keeping this in mind, an Appreciation day as organised at Presidium Dwarka 22. The event recognised their qualities of carrying positive attitude, confidence, good behaviour, attentiveness and many more. The students were acknowledged with certificates by their respected incharges and teachers for their putting their best foot forward at all challenges.

The students of Presidium Dwarka 22 were beatific when they celebrated the occasion of Raksha Bandhan with the honourable Chief Minister of Delhi, Shri Arvind Kejriwal. It was indeed a magnificent sight to behold wherein the students were gleaming with happiness and pride.Shri Arvind Kejriwal was ecstatic to share the beautiful day with the enthusiastic students. He discussed about various prospects and received wishes along with the rakhis tied on his wrist with utmost humility. It was an honour for our young leaders to spend time with the leader of Delhi!
RAKSHA BANDHAN CELEBRATIONS WITH HON'BLE CHAIRMAN, G.S.MATHAROO
Raksha bandhan is one of the most endearing ways to celebrate the bond that never diminishes relationship between a sister and brother who have affection abound strengthening ties that are deep and profound.This pious occasion was celebrated with gaiety and fervour in the esteemed presence of our Chairman G.S Matharoo Sir. Presidians expressed a genial welcome by tying the holy thread around his wrist. Radiance of happiness and peace prevailed when students shared the significance of the festival and also presented a dance performance righteously exhibiting feeling of faith and serenity in mind. Our dignified Chairman Sir highly accoladed the efforts and dispensed gifts to students which created moments for children to cherish. Students accorded token of love to Sir and magical moments were created while capturing photographs.
RAKSHA BANDHAN: A TIME TO CELEBRATE SIBLINGS!
One of the deepest and noblest emotions between a brother and sister is that of love. Raksha Bandhan is the special occasion that celebrates this pious bond of love when a sister ties the holy thread of rakhi on her brother’s wrist. Our young Presidians celebrated this festival with great splendour. A special assembly was organized at Presidium Dwarka 22 by the students which started with offering prayers to God. This was followed by various mesmerising events highlighting the essence of the festival. A skit was also performed depicting the relationship between brothers and sisters, after which dance and singing performances celebrated the emotions related to the festival.
PRESIDIANS CELEBRATE EID-UL-ADHA, THE FESTIVAL OF SACRIFICE!
‘Eid-ul-Adha’ also called the ‘Festival of Sacrifice’ honours the willingness of Ibrahim to sacrifice his son as an act of obedience towards God. Before the act of sacrifice, God reciprocated and replaced the son with a lamb. To observe this pious and serene festival, the students of grades 4 and 5 of Presidium Dwarka 22 organized a morning assembly. They celebrated the festival by performing a skit showcasing the essence of Eid which lies in acknowledging the superiority of spiritual realm. The students exchanged wishes and greetings and rejoiced over the spirit of Eid.
YOUNG ACTORS PERFORM SKITS ON SOCIAL ISSUES IN SKIT COMPETITION
We at Presidium focus on developing the intellectual, personal, emotional and social skills of the students. Participation in various events like skit competitions provide opportunities to the students to be active in their communities and to take their learning beyond the classrooms. We recently conducted a skit competition for our students wherein they emoted naturally without being conscious of the crowd on diverse social issues. The usage of props enhanced their performance and their acting skills were truly unmatched. The participants were judged on storyline, idea, expression, voice modulation, costume and props. This competition encouraged the spirit of creativity, team building and provided a platform to the students to express their ideas and talent.

An Inter- Club Debate Competition was held for the students of grade 9 and 10 in Presidium Dwarka 22 on the topic “Morality is Moral only when Voluntary”. Six club teams were formed after shortlisting the participants. While the first team member spoke for the motion, second participant spoke against it and the third student acted as an interjector. Time allotted to each speaker was 1 minute. The highlight of the debate was the rebuttal round. The debate competition came alive as a volley of questions were answered. Each participant rose to the occasion to defend their argument. The audience highly appreciated the debate.
PRESIDIANS UNFOLD THE JOY OF GIVING AS THEY VISITED NGO SPARSH
Presidium's association with the NGO Sparsh is a beautiful one! Recently to give our young Presidians a sense of immense satisfaction and inner peace to interact with the special children of Sparsh, they were taken to this organization. It was a pleasure to watch the full-of-life special children engaged in day-to-day activities like painting, stitching, dancing and packaging of their handmade products like candles, cards and perfumes. Filling our leaders of tomorrow with the contentment of making their special friends happy with their presence, the short visit was truly splendid!
