PRESIDIANS MESMERIZED BY MRS. NARAYAN'S BEAUTIFUL KATHAK RECITAL
On the occasion of World Dance Day International Dance Day in association with Spic Macay (Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music And Culture Amongst Youth), our young Presidians celebrated the passion of dance and music. This occasion was graced by the benign presence of Ms. Shovana Narayan, who has been awarded the prestigious Padma Shri award by the president of India. Her excellent command of mudras and rhythm as well as her profound expressions were beautifully staged. She along with her team enthralled the audience with her mesmerizing and awe-inspiring dance moves. The students not only got a taste of India’s rich cultural heritage but were mesmerized by the sheer magic of an enchanting performance by the renowned artist.
OUR YOUNG NATURE LOVERS PLEDGE TO CELEBRATE EVERYDAY AS EARTH DAY

Keeping this thought in mind, our students of grades 1, 2 and 3 recently presented a rousing assembly on the occasion of Earth Day at Presidium, Dwarka 22. The assembly started with a thought and speech, showing the importance of celebrating this special day. Afterwards, the students presented a meaningful skit on theme ‘go green’, through which they demonstrated the side effects of humans trying to modify nature for their own selfish needs; plus, they also highlighted the importance of keeping the environment green and pollution-free. This was followed by a beautiful song and dance performance by the students, which developed a sense of gratitude and duty towards Mother Earth in everyone's heart!
PRESIDIANS PRESENT A SPECIAL ASSEMBLY ON DIVERSE KINDS OF HOUSES
In synch with the theme 'shelter' in EVS, the enthusiastic and keen Presidians of Dwarka 22 showcased a captivating culmination on different kinds of houses, stating the importance of shelter for people, considering variance in places, climatic conditions and availability of materials in that area. They culminated the theme by displaying mud houses, stilt houses, bungalows and multi-storied apartments. The best shelter to allure were the skyscrapers made to fulfill residential, as well as official purposes. Students thoroughly enjoyed the theme and had quality hands-on experience!
STUDENTS DISPLAY THEIR MAGICAL PHOTOGRAPHY SKILLS AT PURANA QUILA
It's the photographer, not the camera, that is the instrument!
The budding photographers of Hocus Pocus Academy of Presidium Dwarka 22 were recently taken to the grand Purana Quila to enable them to skilfully practice the art of photography. The young learners explored the beauty of the monument with DSLR cameras in their hands and were guided by the Hocus Pocus senior photographers at every step as their refined mentors. Showcasing the serenity and magnificence of this captivating historical monument, the leaders of tomorrow captured several glorious clicks and filled a bag of treasured memories!
FIRST DAY OF SESSION INCULCATES A SENSE OF GROUP BELONGINGNESS
Recently, our young Presidians were greeted into the new academic year with enthralling games and welcome activities to ensure that they feel the warmth and delectation of their second home again. The activities primarily focused on recreation and to earn them a lifetime bond with their peer groups and facilitators. The students were welcomed with a traditional tilak to inculcate a sense of collective belongingness in them. New students of grades nursery and prep were also welcomed playfully with fun-filled activities. All the children proceeded towards their respective classrooms, packed with a bag full of hopes and excitement.
PLEDGING TO MAKE WORLD A HEALTHIER PLACE ON WORLD HEALTH DAY
Health is the most important thing in human life!
Considering that people should have good health for a happy and good life, World Health Day was recently observed by our enthusiastic students as a club activity at Presidium, Dwarka 22. Depicting healthy eating habits and lifestyle through attractive posters, the Presidians displayed the importance of health and drew audience's attention towards health. This activity also reinforced the importance of a balanced diet and food safety. Students being the future tycoons, pledged to ensure good health and hygiene and aimed to make the world a healthier place.
A SOULFUL TRIP TO THE GOLDEN CITY ENTHRALLS YOUNG PRESIDIANS
In an endeavour to experience the spiritual heaven of Punjab, our young Presidians took an exciting trip to Amritsar. They visited the Golden temple, Durgiani temple, Jalliawala Bagh and the Wagah Border, which filled their hearts with serenity, peaceful positive vibes and patriotic fervour. The leaders of tomorrow took back thousands of golden memories from this lively trip to the golden city!
STUDENTS BEAUTIFULLY ENACT THE SIGNIFICANT ROLES OF OUR HELPERS
Recently, TBL Culmination for the theme 'people around us' was conducted at Presidium Dwarka 22, wherein different helper charts were displayed with the tools they use. Students enthusiastically participated in the activity by coming dressed up as their favourite helper and spoke few lines about them. Well-versed with different names and the tools used by helpers, the students also responded to various questions raised by the classmates and the teachers. Eye catching presentation was done by students, dressed as various helpers like cobbler, gardener, baker, salon owner and car cleaner. It was an overwhelming experience to watch the leaders of tomorrow on stage speaking confidently!
PRESIDIANS GIVE INCREDIBLE PERFORMANCES IN INTER-CLASS ROLE PLAY
Participating in role play gives students opportunities to be active in their communities and to take their learning beyond the classroom!
To prepare our Presidians of Dwarka 22 to step into the spotlight, an Inter-Class Role Play Competition was recently organized. The students learnt how to be flexible, all thanks to their regular performances and rehearsals. Improving tremendously on their problem solving skills, they found ways to handle mistakes in front of audience and to manage their time effectively. Making the best of the opportunity to showcase their artistic side, the leaders of tomorrow delivered breathtaking performances.
EBULLIENT CULMINATION DAY OF THEME BASED LEARNING AT PRESIDIUM

Packed with such voluminous enthusiasm, our grade 2 Presidians of Dwarka 22 recently came for the ebullient TBL culmination day. Experiential learning in its true form was evident when the aspiring students showcased their knowledge. This event was based on the idea to reminiscence various topics such as characteristics of different seasons, the foods we eat and sensitivity towards the hardships that people and animals face during certain seasons. Students recited beautiful rhymes like The Seasons Call, Spring, Magic of Summer, which made the culmination more interactive and lively.
